A Housing Initiative for Emancipated Youth By
Gowns and Gardens House of Charities

THE PROBLEM

Emancipated youth coming out of foster care often lack skills, know-how, mentorship, and support to allow them to reach their goals.

THE SOLUTION

The Cinderella Project is a type of entrepreneur house for 12-25 young ladies who are emancipated foster youth with a vision not only for themselves but also, their communities.

THE GOAL: To cultivate and support an outstanding group of community leaders in a variety of industries giving them the tools they need to impact society with their vision.

Like a beacon of hope, the application process alone will cause applicants to dream again, and have actionable steps laid out that they can follow much like a business plan. In-house residents time will vary from 1-4 years depending on a variety of factors. Out-of-house residents can participate in trainings virtually online, or by phone, or with organization partners/mentors. This project creates a global alumni network of visionaries, doers, and achievers who have the training and mindset to achieve their goals and mentor the next generation. Applicants who are not accepted will have the opportunity to participate in GG House public offerings, attend community engagements and organizational events to encourage and cultivate all.

WHO IS CINDERELLA

She is motivated by a dream of a better life for herself and the world. She believes that she can make this happen by implementing her vision.  She may not have all the tools and resources to reach her goals, but she is driven to reach them regardless.  She believes that she can do it if she can find access to the education, resources and skill to achieve it.  Mediocre is not for her - she believes she can do great things and that greatness is within her.  She wants to excel in all that she does with excellence, purpose and lift up others in the process by encouraging those around her to be great as well.  She demonstrates a focus and dedication, through knowing and being able to communicate her vision and the diligence to hold herself accountable. She holds a set of principles, morals and values, and believes in being honest and true to what she believes is right.

THE SETTING

Here at Gowns and Gardens House of Charities™ we believe that environment is a huge part of breaking the chains of the past. It is also a part of our legacy to be sure we cultivate these moments in unique and beautiful environments. This is why we want only the best setting for these girls to be able to rejuvenate, gain perspective, healing, nurturing, guidance and education they need to get to the next step. To achieve this, we are seeking out beautiful estates that can house these girls, onsite mentors and staff to provide a clear demarcation from their past and a clear step into their future. There will be 24/7 support, training, and access to make sure that each of these girls succeed. Join us in celebrating life and new beginnings by being a part of The Cinderella Project!
